I wanted to try the Dior Forever Matte & ended up using Findation, which matched me a full shade lighter than Sephora's shade finder. I like the Color IQ in theory, but also have the experience that its matches are too dark for me. Previously, I had a really good match with Tarte Rainforest of the Sea, but I'm pretty sure they took that one out of the shade finder awhile ago. I matched perfectly to one of the new Make Up For Ever HD (or whatever it's called now) shades & have struck out trying to match it with very much I'm interested in. I don't try every foundation under the sun and there are annoyingly few matches available based on what I have tried.
